Conference: The Foothills of Judah- Recent Archaeological Investigations

Location: Riley Center, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary campus

Registration: Early bird (by 11/3): Regular- $40; Student- $20
                         Standard: Regular- $50; Student- $25

This conference will feature a full day of presentations on the latest discoveries and trends in the archaeological and historical studies of the Judean foothills from both Israeli and American archaeologists, culminating in a free public lecture on the Judahite fortified town at Tel Burna by the field director of the Tel Burna Excavation Project, Dr. Itzhaq Shai. The second day will consist of a workshop with the head staff of the Tel Burna Excavation Project. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days.

Featured speakers include Dr. Itzhaq Shai (Ariel University), Dr. Steve Ortiz (SWBTS), and Chris McKinny (Texas A&M University Corpus Christi).
